OBSERVATION

The body is resilient.  It is capable of healing itself.  Similar to healing from a cut or a broken bone, the body can recover over time from muscle strains, ligament sprains, and even herniated discs.  If your symptoms are minimal, tolerable and don’t lead to any significant functional limitations, you can simply wait for your body to heal itself without any additional treatment intervention.  Over time, your symptoms hopefully will improve.  However, if they worsen, persist, or are associated with any associated symptoms, such as weakness, or numbness/tingling, you might benefit from an evaluation by a medical specialist.
